Recite transfer of mortgage 6 and 7 Feb 1791
Recites indenture of 30 Mar 1791 between 1 Robert Arundell, Viscount Gallway, D B Mathew, Sir Charles Middleton, Samuel Cornigh, Humphrey Sumner and William Smith, 2 Richard Sumner and wife Susannah, 3 Samuel Gambier, which recites a marriage settlement of Richard Sumner and Susannah Gambier 21 Oct 1784 in which Richard Sumner covenanted to transfer to Sir Charles Middleton etc £12500 4 per cent consolidated annuities on trust, and also recites marriage settlemnt of Samuel Gambier and Jane Mathew 7 Feb 1786 declaring trusts of £14300, 3 percent consolidated bank annuities. Both consolidated annuities were sold for the respective sums of £12776 12s 6d and £11200. These sums together with £1800 advanced by Samuel Gambier £223 7s 6d advanced by Richard Sumner, making a total of £26000 were declared to be held by the trustees to the uses of the prospective settlements

Now for £26000 the Loftus estate is mortgaged in the following proportions:
To the trustees of the marriage settlemtn of Samuel Gambier £5200
To the same trustees £6000
To the trustees of the marriage settlement of the late Richard Sumner £12776 12s 6d
To the executors of Richard Sumner £23 7s 6d

The whole estate is partitioned iinto proportionate lands to secure the above sums and demised on various terms and the whole is comprised in 4 detailed schedules of the estate which give the names of properties and their situations, the names of tennants, names of closes and acreages and rents
