TitleBond for Provision of £3000 by Lord Dundas to his daughter Lady Milton
DescriptionRecites that by L. & R. 22/23 May 1764 prior to marriage of Lord Dundas with Lady Charlotte Fitzwilliam, the Manor of Aske and other estates were settled and charged with the sum of £20,000 for portions for younger children. Also the late Sir L. Dundas by deed of entail of lands in Scotland, 25 May 1768, reserved his son and to his heirs of tail! ie1 full power to provide for younger or other children besides the heir to any sum of money not exceeding £25,000. And that Lord Dundas has at present nine younger children so that the above sums when divided afford £5000 to each.

And that Mary Dundas, fourth daughter, having lately married Charles William Viscount Milton, only son of William Earl Fitzwilliam, Lord Dundas promised for himself and heirs of his Scottish estates to secure to her and her said husband for her marriage portion £3000, part of the present £25000
