TitleLetter book of Sir Lawrence Dundas
DescriptionTwo letters written from Kerse dated 11 & 14 Oct 1776, are stuck into the front of the volume. The copy letters are mainly written to his agents in Scotland and Ireland, but also include a few to his Loftus agent about the alum works. The figure 3 is marked on the spine.

(b) Copy covering note of Sir Lawrence Dundas to William BaIfour and John Bruce, his deputy Vice Admirals in Orkney and Shetland respectively, transmitting Admiralty Order 2 Apr 1778
(c) Letter from William Balfour (Kirkwall) to Sir Lawrence Dundas, explaining inabiIity to complete accounts of his management of Shetland affairs because of ill health 14 May 1779
