Description'I had the pleasure of receiving my dearest lifes letter of the 15th this morning. I am very sorry to hear you have been ill with headachs: I wish and hope you are now quite well. My last would tell you how peaceable our election went on and how much every person was pleased: I hope it will always continue so. Gibbs Craufurd promised me to call upon you how soon he got to town whcih would be on Sunday evening. Col. Mastertone had a very long letter from Thomie dated the 22nd February. He was quite recovered and had got my last letters whcih will set all right as to credite etc. He was soon to leave Rome and would certainly be at Paris in beginning or Aprile.
