TitleAgreement relating to East India stock
DescriptionAgreement that William Pulteney, Robert Clerk and Duncan Clerk are responsible to Sir Lawrence Dundas that Mr Sulivan and his friends in the East India direction do appoint as soon as possible, a writer of Sir Lawrence Dundas' nomination and likewise that Sir Lawrence Dundas shall have two directors in Mr Sulivans list for the ensuing year but the persons who he nominates must not be in the list which opposes him. Sir Lawrence Dundas engages to let Mr Duncan Clerk have £100000 East India stock to be split by him who with Mr Sulivan etc is to be security that the said stock shall be returned to Sir Lawrence Dundas after the election
