'As your nephew Tom is not of age it's time enough to inroll hima year or two hence'. Ralph Dundas, merchant has told of his son's shipbeing blown up by lightning and landed at Portsmouth. Can Sir Lawrende write to Admiralty in his favour. 'Your brother is in town, has changed lodgings 3 times, he has not appeared on the street, keeps close in the house, his management is too ridiculous to trouble you with.I am uneasie what to do with him, I shall do the best'.
