DescriptionSituation of Orkney votes and work on Sir Lawrence's behalf. Mt honeyman next biggest proprietor, has declared for Mr Dundas. There are 14 freeholders on the rolls of Orkney, three of these are bat vizt. Sir James Douglas, Grahame of Breckness and Young of Castleyeards. As noe of these three gentlemen are in possession of the lands on whcih they claim'd and of the remaining eleven Mr Honeyman I beleive can depend on being join'd by these four, Mr Honeyman, Craigie of Gairsay, Mr Mackie of Strathy, Mr Backie of Barness and myself. Mr Honeyman is prepared to give Mr Dundas a voting qualification
