Recites indentures of 1 August 1835 (see ZAY 41) and 9-10 October 1831 (see ZAY 40).

Now in consideration of £760 paid by (3) to (1), (1) and (2) convey to 3 :

Messuage and malt kiln with yard behind the same in Bowes, formerly used as an inn ("The Shoulder of Mutton") adjoining messuage late of Rev. Mr. Dison, then of Thomas Charge esq on east, premises of (1) on west, the town street on north and back lane on south, lately in the possession of Martha Aislabie, in the occupation of (1); also 2 messuages now comprising one cottage with garden behind the same in Bowes adjoining house of (1) on east, lands late of G.F. Dote then of (1) on west and south, and by the townstreet on north, in occupation of (1) lately in the possession of William Sugden; also a close used as a garden on south side of townstreet adjoining said messuages of (1) on east, lands late of John Colling then of David Colling on west, by townstreet of Bowes and above messuages on north and the back lane on south, lately in the possession of George Frederic Dote in possession of (1); also 3 closes in Bowes (B acres) adjoining land of (1) on east, of Mistress Copeland on west, by the turnpike from Barnard Castle to Bowes on north and by land of Mistress Copeland on south in the occupation of Michael Sayer, lately in the possession of Martha Aislabie and Cuthbert Stuart.

Subject to proviso for redemption on payment by (1) of £160 and interest at 5% on 20 March 1839.
