DescriptionThis sub-series contains records relating to attendance at the Sessions, and includes:

- call roll, including a precept (dated 1 December 1858) to the sheriff to appear at the Quarter Sessions and to summon jurors and justices to the Sessions to be held at Northallerton on 4 January 1859. With names of those on Grand and Traverse Juries, and names of the sheriff, deputy sheriff, treasurer, coroners, high constables, bailiffs and keepers of the gaol at the castle of York and of the House of Correction at Northallerton [1 item]

- papers relating to the exemption from jury service of John Russell, H. Willins, James Bucktrout, Robert Downing and William Vaughan [5 items]

- warrants to the bailiffs of Birdforth and Allertonshire, Hang East and Hang West, and Langbaurgh West to summon jurors for the Grand Jury and Traverse Jury [3 items]
