DescriptionThis sub-series contains records relating to attendance at the Sessions, and includes:

- call roll, including a precept (dated 12 December 1838) to the sheriff to appear at the Quarter Sessions and to summon jurors and justices to the Sessions to be held at Northallerton on 31 December 1838. Includes names of those on Grand and Traverse Juries, and names of the sheriff, deputy sheriff, treasurer, coroners, high constables, bailiffs and keepers of the gaol at the castle of York and of the House of Correction at Northallerton [1 item]

- warrant summonsing the inhabitants of Great Ayton [1 item]

- warrants to the bailiffs of Allertonshire, Birdforth, Gilling East and West , Hang East, Hang West and Yarm, and Pickering Lythe to summon jurors for the Grand Jury and Traverse Jury [7 items]

- certificate of sickness of John Plowman [1 item]
