From 8 October 1821 the highway has been in disrepair in the parish of Fylingdales from a place called Gilderston Gate eastward to a place called Normanby Gate for 650 yards in length, being 20 feet in breadth; also another part of the same highway from a place called Kirk Moor Gate eastward to a place called Elworth Beck, being 3,070 yards in length and 20 feet in breadth
