TitleChristmas Quarter Sessions: records relating to attendance at the Sessions
DescriptionThis sub-series contains records relating to attendance at the Sessions, and includes:

- call roll, including a precept (dated 7 December 1811) to the sheriff to appear at the Quarter Sessions and to summon jurors and justices to the Sessions to be held at New Malton on Tuesday 14 January 1811 and by adjournment at Richmond on Monday 20 January 1811. With names of those on Grand and Traverse Juries [2 items]

- precepts to the bailiffs to summon jurors for the following wapentakes/divisions: Birdforth; Bulmer; Gilling West[?]; Hang West; Pickering Lythe; Ryedale; and Whitby Strand [7 items]

- precept to the constable to summon James Hunter [1 item]

- precept to the bailiff to summon the inhabitants of the township of Osmotherley; with covering letter [3 items]

- affidavits relating to Michael Kendal's state of health and his inability to attend the Sessions as a witness against William Raine [2 items]
