| Description | Certificate of a Justice relating to part of the highway from Strensall to Stamford Bridge in the East Riding. The part of the highway in the parish of Stockton, beginning at a piece of open common called Towthorpe Common and extending to the high road leading from the city of York to New Malton, being 1760 yards in length and 30 feet in breadth, is now completely repaired. It had been presented at the Quarter Sessions held at Easingwold on Tuesday 13 January 1789 for being out of repair |
