DescriptionBill of indictment of the inhabitants of Mowthorpe for not scouring a watercourse called Mowthorpe Beck that flows through lands at Mowthorpe to the mill occupied by George Stockdale at Stittenham called Stittenham Mill

From 1 May 1691 the watercourse has been obstructed at Mowthorpe so that water cannot flow to Stittenham Mill

Endorsed with name of witness and "true bill"
