- sessional rolls, mostly including summaries of notices of assessments sent out, and draft or fair copies of notices of assessments or precepts for levying rates, sent by the deputy Clerk of the Peace to high constables, overseers of the poor, and Boards of Guardians; with some related papers. From 1880 there are summaries only. Includes: general county rates (with some police and asylum rates) 1845-1889; asylum rates 1849-1872; police rates (police local expenditure and police general expenditure) 1856-1880; and local cattle plague rates 1866. |
