- petitions against the Highways Act of 1862 with some petitions in favour and epitomes [1863, 1867]
Highways Act 1878:
- correspondence relating to the Highways and Locomotives Amendment Act of 1878 and to byelaws under this Act, with copies of byelaws of the North Riding and other authorities and petitions for Highway Boards for roads to be declared 'main' roads [1878-1890]
- plans (on Ordnance Survey 6 inch sheets) relating to memorials presented to Quarter Sessions by the Highway Boards under the 1878 Act [1878-1879] |
