TitleCopy of will of Allan Carr of Settle, yeoman
DescriptionTo Thomas Tomlinson of Lancaster, gent, brother( in law), William Hall of Settle, mercer, cousin, George Carr of Giggleswick, gent, William Bradley of Stainforth, yeoman, and their survivors and heirs, all messuages, lands and tenements in Settle and all goods, chattels and personal estate in trust to sell all the property, on Allan Carr's death, and apply the money to payment of debts and funeral expenses, residue to be held in trust from Thomas Carr, son, liable to the following legacies:
To daughters Agnes, Alizabeth, Ann, Mary and Catherine, £150 each at age of 21 years. If one die before reaching 21 years legacy shall lapse in favour of son Thomas, but if any others should die under 21 years legacies to be split amongst surviving daughters
Residue to be applied to maintenance of children till son attains 21 years when he is to pay daughters £6 10s per annum during their minorities
