Administrative historyAustwick was formerly a township in the parish of Clapham, until it was constituted a separate parish containing the townships of Austwick and Lawkland in 1879. The church there is dedicated to the Epiphany. Austwick Chapel was consecrated in 1841, and the Church was consecrated in 1883.
