John Yorke, Bewerley (co York) and Teignmouth (co Devon). Re leadmines in Nidderdale, at Craven Cross and Merryfield, in which the writer had interests and on which he sought Chaytor's legal opinion. Smelting mill, stamp mill and smelting-house for copper mentioned, and boundary dispute with the freeholders of Coniston. Refs. to county business (Yorke being Sheriff in 1789), sea-bathing at Blackpool, the division of Whitcliffe Pasture in Richmond.
