All those several tenements, houses or cottages in New Malton:

House and garden on west side of street called New Biggin or Toll Booth in New Malton in occ. of Mathew Piercy abutting east on New Biggin or Toll Booth west and south on ground or buildings now in occ. of Wm. Thackway and Francis Taylor, north on Richard Parkinsons tenements; house and yard on west side of New Biggin or Toll Booth in occ. Wm. Thackway, adjoining tenement last mentioned on north and abutting towards west and south on grounds and buildings next mentioned; house with yard and ground now in occ. of Francis Taylor or his undertenant, part whereof being a corner house, situate on west of Newbiggin or Toll Booth and on north side of Finkhall St. in New Malton and abutts west on a freehold tenement of Francis Taylor and north on tenement and ground last mentioned, and the other part thereof is situate behind the aforesaid tenements and ground of Mathew Piercy and Wm. Thackway, between the same on the east and a certain tenement and ground held of the said Marquis of Rockingham by Richard Read on the west, and abutts north on Richard Parkinsons tenements aforesaid and south on the said freehold tenement of Francis Taylor; house now used as the Post Office with a barbers shop, stables and garden situate on the east side of the Market Stead in New Malton in 0cc. of Henry Robinson, abutting east on Thomas Richardsons tenements west on the Market Stead, north on tenements belonging to the widow of Edward Sellars and south on tenements belonging to the Marquis of Rockingham and all appurtenances to the above premises, which are parcel of lands heretobefore given for the service of a chaplain within the chapel of St. Michael at New Malton and parcel of the late monastery of Kirkham and were demised by Geo I to William Strickland esq. for 3 lives
