DescriptionRe powers of lords of manors to appoint gamekeepers. Mr Read has not the whole of Sand Hutton manor, but Thomas Pearson has some share which he holds as tenant under Robert Wright of Claxton who purchased it from Robert Pearson deceased. Recommends H.B.D. to purchase Wright's share and appoint Dalby as gamekeeper. Rights of householders to stock common. Suggests Mr Reed be warned that an action will be brought against him for trespass if he enters on H.B.D.'s lands [in Sand Hutton?] to shoot.
