Recites that various suits are depending between Medd and Ellen Carrington of London spinster on behalf of Medd and James Brooke of York aldermen and Richard Otterborne of Kirby Moorside gent; and that Horsley has paid £600 to Medd and undertaken to supply him with sufficient money to carry on the suits during the ensuing year. The premises are hereby mortgaged for the £600 and for such further sums as shall be advanced. Witnesses: John Tailor, Thomas Hawson, Thomas Squire. Attached is bond for performance of covenants. |
