Statement of John Henry Rickaby, the accused

Undated letter from J.H. Rickaby at High Street Easingwold. The cow is not as sound as he would like for him to deliver her, and it would do her harm to walk her. He will meet him either at Kirby or at his own house on Friday, and will give him his money back when he sees him
