The four men were also indicted for receiving the stolen goods

Green had previously been convicted of felony at the court of summary jurisdiction for the borough of Kingston upon Hull on 20 December 1887, and McNally had previously been convicted of felony at the Police Court held at the borough of Kingston upon Hull on 6 November 1873

Endorsed with names of witnesses and "true bill"



With certificate of conviction at the Police Court in the borough of Kingston upon Hull on 6 November 1873 of Peter McNally for stealing one coat value exceeding 5s, the property of Frederick Lancaster, on 25 October 1873. McNally was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction for the borough of Kingston upon Hull for six calendar months. Certificate dated 11 June 1888



With certificate of conviction at the Petty Sessional court held at the borough of Kingston upon Hull on 20 December 1887 John Green of the borough of Kingston upon Hull for stealing one shirt and one singlet value not exceeding 40s, the property of John Solea, on 30 November 1887. Green was sentenced to hard labour at the prison at the borough of Kingston upon Hull for six weeks. Certificate dated 11 June 1888
