DescriptionBill of indictment of Frederick Grayson apprentice of Phineas Ward a venetian blind manufacturer at Middlesbrough for obtaining one kitchen table from James Watson cabinet maker at Middlesbrough by falsely pretending that he (Grayson) had been sent by Ward for a kitchen table and that Ward had sent 4s 6d to Watson to pay for it

Grayson had previously been convicted of felony at a Petty Sessional court for the borough and county of Newcastle upon Tyne on 10 January 1881

With certificate of conviction at a Petty Sessional court for the borough and county of Newcastle upon Tyne on 10 January 1881 of Frederick Grayson for stealing 10s in money, the property of Jeremiah Curtin, at the parish of St Nicholas in the borough of Newcastle upon Tyne on 8 January 1881. Grayson was sentenced to hard labour at the prison at Newcastle upon Tyne for one calendar month. Certificate undated
