With certificate of conviction at a Petty Sessional court for Langbaurgh North held at Middlesbrough on 3 June 1881 of Eliza Bennett for stealing 25 yards of cashmerette, one stuff skirt, and one pair of window shades value £1 14s 9d, the property of Michael Nicholson, at the township of Normanby in May 1881. Bennett was sentenced to hard labour at the prison at Northallerton for two calendar months. Certificate dated 22 June 1882
