With certificate of conviction at the police court at the borough of Middlesbrough on 23 January 1878 of Jacob Whiskers of the borough of Middlesbrough labourer for stealing 14 dozen rabbit skins value £2 10s, the property of Thomas Tyerman of the borough of Middlesbrough game dealer. Whiskers was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Northallerton for six weeks. Certificate dated 15 October 1878
