With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 16 October 1866 of Eliza Gazzard for stealing two blankets, three sheets, two shirts, one pair of boots, one towel, two pillows, and one bolster, the property of John Kay, at the township of Whitby on 5 September 1865. Gazzard was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Northallerton for six weeks. Certificate dated 17 October 1877
