Description | Bill of indictment of George Henry North for obtaining £10 from James Rogers by falsely pretending that Joseph Harker the overman employed by Messrs Stevenson Jaques and Company at their mines and some of the men in the employment of the Company had differed and that there was not sufficient money to pay them off, and therefore he (North) wanted to borrow £10 from Rogers on behalf of the Company
