With certificate of conviction at a Petty Sessions for the Upper and Lower Divisions of Staincross in the West Riding held at Barnsley on 3 March 1873 of Abraham Wright for stealing one purse, one pair of boots and £1 3s 5d in money, the property of William Hesketh, at the township of Wombwell on 20 January 1873. Wright was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Wakefield for one calendar month. Certificate dated 21 December 1874
