With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions for Lancashire held at Manchester on 5 July 1869 of Jonathan Saxon for receiving one ingot of copper and 13 pounds weight of copper, the property of The Broughton Copper Company Limited, at Salford on 26 June 1869, knowing the goods to be stolen. Saxon was sentenced to hard labour in the county prison for the hundred of Salford at Manchester for nine calendar months. Certificate dated 19 December 1873 |
