With certificate of conviction before two Justices of the Peace at the borough of Hartlepool in county Durham on 23 May 1862 of Joseph Hall of Sunderland in county Durham mason for stealing a silver watch, the property of Robert Charlton of the township of Stranton in county Durham blacksmith, at the borough of Hartlepool on 22 May 1862. Hall was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Durham for three calendar months. Certificate dated 8 October 1870
