With certificate of conviction at the magistrates' court in Liverpool in Lancashire held on 9 August 1862 of Henry Ripley for stealing one gun, the property of James Hickson at Bootle cum Linacre in Lancashire on 21 July 1862. Ripley was sentenced to hard labour in the House of Correction at Kirkdale in Lancashire for six weeks. Certificate dated 2 January 1869
