With certificate of conviction at the Assizes and General Gaol Delivery for the county of Glamorgan held at Cardiff on 23 December 1862 of John Nicholson for breaking into the dwelling house of Simon Jacobs in the parish of Swansea on the night of 4 August 1862 and stealing 20 watches, two pairs of boots, two jackets, two waistcoats, two pairs of trousers, one blue frock, one franc silver piece, two five franc pieces, and money, the property of the said Simon Jacobs. Nicholson was sentenced to penal servitude for five years. Certificate date 27 June 1867 |
