- notice dated 14 June 1866 from Lord Wharncliffe to the surveyors of the highways for the township of High Abbotside requiring them to give notice to the church or chapel wardens of the parochial chapelry of Hardraw to call a vestry meeting to consider his request to divert the highway
- notice dated 15 June 1866 that a vestry meeting of the inhabitants of the chapelry of Hardraw will be held on 21 June 1866 to consider the diversion of the highway
- certificate dated 17 June 1866 that a copy of the above notice was attached to the doors of Hardraw chapel, Lunds chapel and the meeting house at Cotterdale, and posted up in the villages of Hardraw and Sedbusk; with copy resolution of the vestry meeting dated 21 June 1866 to approve the diversion
- order dated 21 June 1866 to the surveyors of the highways for the township of High Abbotside to apply to two Justices to view the highway to be diverted
- notice dated 7 July 1866 from to the surveyors of the highways for the township of High Abbotside that an application will be made at the next Sessions for an order to divert the highway
- copies of the Richmond and Ripon Chronicle dated 14 July 1866, 21 July 1866, 28 July 1866, and 4 August, containing a notice relating to the diversion of the highway
- certificate dated 24 August 1866 of two Justices that they have viewed the new highway and found it more commodious to the public, as the old highway is very steep and hilly in places, and being very narrow is unfit for travelling with horses, carts and carriages
- consent dated 21 August 1866 of the representatives of the late Thomas Stuart deceased to the making of the new highway through their lands in the village of Simonstone
- consent dated 21 August 1866 of the representatives of the late John Fawcett deceased to the making of the new highway through their lands in the village of Simonstone
