With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 1 July 1862 of Ellen Corney late of the House of Correction at Northallerton for stealing one dress piece, two shawls, and two fur boas, the property of Charles Bell; and six pairs of trousers and two waistcoats, the property of Thomas Kneeshaw. Corney was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Northallerton for nine calendar months. Certificate dated 31 December 1864
