Letter dated 17 June 1864 from Abraham Taylor at 7 and 8 Edgbaston Street, Birmingham, wholesale dealer in glass and china ornaments, to the governor of the House of Correction at Northallerton. He has known Samuel Hall for over six years, and had trusted him in his warehouse. He always found him honest and never suspected him of dishonesty. He would be glad to employ him again
