With certificate of conviction at the Petty Sessions held at Ripon for the Liberty of Ripon on 10 June 1863 of John Brady for stealing one pair of black cloth trousers value 4s, the property of John Jackson, at the township of Ripon on 4 June 1863. Brady was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Ripon for three calendar months. Certificate dated 10 October 1863
