With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 9 April 1850 of Dorothy Stevenson wife of John Stevenson of South Kilvington carpenter for stealing one chinchilla Victoria and one black silk cloak, the property of Jane Hall, on 11 February 1850, at the township of Thirsk. Stevenson was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Northallerton for six weeks. Certificate dated 15 October 1855 |
