With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 14 October 1851 of William Thompson late of the House of Correction at Northallerton labourer for stealing one drinking tin, the property of John Hodgson at the parish of Hovingham. Thompson was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Northallerton for two calendar months and to be once privately whipped. Certificate dated 5 April 1852



With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 15 October 1850 of John Carrill late of the House of Correction at Northallerton labourer for stealing one worsted cloth coat, one other coat, and one waistcoat, the property of Maria Cussons, and for receiving the same knowing them to be stolen, at the parish of Salton. Carrill was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Northallerton for three calendar months and to be privately whipped three times. Certificate dated 5 April 1852
