With certificate of conviction of Calvert at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 27 June 1848 for breaking into the dwelling house of George Hall at the parish of Wycliffe on 5 May 1848 and stealing eight pennies, 12 halfpennies, eight farthings, one glass bottle and eight ounces weight of sweetmeats called sweet bullets, the property of George Hall. Calvert was sentenced to hard labour at the House of Correction at Northallerton for two calendar months. Certificate dated 18 October 1848
