- Barbara Taylor. Inquest held at Whitby on 16 December 1844. Verdict: died by the visitation of God of disease of the heart

- William Harrison. Inquest held at Whitby on 17 December 1844. Verdict: died by the visitation of God in a fit of epilepsy

- William Cockerill. Inquest held at Fylingdales on 27 December 1844. Verdict: died by the visitation of God of apoplexy

- William Corney. Inquest held at Ruswarp on 3 January 1845. Verdict: accidental death by drowning

- Nathaniel Lorains . Inquest held at Whitby on 9 January 1845. Verdict: found drowned

- Robert Melton. Inquest held at Sneaton on 16 January 1845. Verdict: accidental death by burning

- Thomas Ward. Inquest held at Hawsker cum Stainsacre on 8 February 1845. Verdict: accidental death by falling from the sea cliff

- Jane Crawford. Inquest held at Whitby on 21 February 1845. Verdict: being insane hanged herself

- John Coverdale Readman. Inquest held at Aislaby on 21 February 1845. Verdict: accidental death by burning

- Ann Clifford. Inquest held at Hawsker cum Stainsacre on 24 February 1845. died by the visitation of God of angina pectoris

- Rebecca Agar. Inquest held at Whitby on 4 March 1845. Verdict: died by the visitation of God of rupture of the stomach
