TitleOrders of Court respecting county rates
DescriptionOrder from the Easter Sessions 1824 outlining rules for a uniform system of rate assessment in each division, and respiting until the next Midsummer Sessions the time for receiving the remainder of the returns not already submitted

Order from the Midsummer Sessions 1824 for the Clerk of the Peace to write to the churchwardens and overseers of the poor of the townships that have not submitted their returns, and to the clerks to the magistrates of those divisions containing those townships asking for the returns to be submitted without delay. An order is made to appoint a committee for comparing and equalising the rate assessments

Order from the Michaelmas Sessions 1824 for the Clerk of the Peace to apply to the Commissioners of Taxes for copies of the returns of the Property Tax for 1814. These returns will be put before the Committee to compare them with the returns already received, and to recommend any alterations and amendments to the next Sessions

Order from the Christmas Sessions 1825 relating to the quota of assessment on each division which will be two-thirds of the net returns received from the Tax Office. The magistrates of each division will assess each township to raise the exact sum required by the quota of each district, and make their returns to the Clerk of the Peace on or before 5 April 1825

Order from the Easter Sessions 1825 for the Clerk of the Peace to make schedules and assess the townships in each division according to the proportions of these returns. Gilling West division will have a deduction in respect of lead mines. Where no new returns have been made, the townships will be assessed according to returns under the Property Tax
