Mr Thomas paid six years arrears due at Candlemas 1830 and the annual rent from that time to Candlemas 1834, since which period he has sold the property to Mr Thomas Newsam of Yarm attorney at law to whom several applications have been made for the rent due at Candlemas 1835 and who has hitherto declined paying it but says he will make further searches in order to satisfy himself as to the liability of the property to the payment thereof

- Thomas Spence of London. This is an old arrear which Mr Spence says he paid to Mr Miles a former collector of the rents

- John Tweddell of Stokesley (late Mrs Jefferson). This rent prior to the year 1827 was for many years demanded of Robert Young surgeon who is owner of another property in Yarm which formerly belonged to Mrs Jefferson but it is not subject to the rent and it never having been demanded of John Tweddell until 1827 he was advised by his solicitor not to pay for more than six years arrears which he then paid, and has since paid the rent annually
- Henry Wilson of Stockton on Tees (late John William Warwick) [two entries]. Mr Wilson purchased the property in respect of which this rent is payable in the summer of 1829 and he has paid the rent since accrued due. John William Warwick the former owner is insolvent
- Elizabeth Weddell of Yarm
- Ann Williams of Yarm [two entries]. Mrs Williams paid six years arrears due at Candlemas 1831 and has since paint the rents annually
- Stephen Wiseman (late John Rowland). Mr Wiseman has paid this rent from the time that he purchased the property and the claim for the previous arrears is barred by the Statute |
