- order dated 8 July 1822 for the diversion of part of a public highway in the parish of Foston. Two Justices have viewed the highway between Foston and Whitwell and Castle Howard, being 418 yards long, and found that it may be diverted; and have viewed the proposed new highway through the land of the Revd Francis Simpson, being 357 yards long and 30 yards wide, and have had evidence of his consent to the diversion

Two Justices have viewed part of the footway between Foston and Foston Bridge, being 627 yards in length, and found that it may be diverted; and have viewed the proposed new footway through the land of the Revd Francis Simpson, being 614 yards in length, and have had evidence of his consent to the diversion
