Description | Draft order for the Michaelmas Sessions 1817 for Thomas Wheldon to pay towards the support of his son. As James Wheldon is very poor and incapable of supporting himself and is chargeable to the township of Nether Silton, the churchwardens and overseers of the poor of Nether Silton have applied to the court for his father Thomas Wheldon of Nether Silton to contribute to his maintenance. Thomas has refused to help, but the court has ordered that he should contribute to his son's maintenance
