DescriptionBill of indictment of John Blakey of the parish of East Harlsey yeoman for not repairing part of the highway from West Rounton to Northallerton

From 2 April 1792 the highway has been in disrepair in the parish of East Harlsey from a gate across the highway at the north-east end of a lane called Dibdale Lane to another gate placed across the highway at the south-west end of the same lane, being 1,466 yards in length and 20 feet in breadth

Blakey is liable for repairs by reason of his tenure of lands adjoining the highway

Endorsed with names of witnesses and "a true bill"
