DescriptionBill of expenses and oath of Robert Emerson one of the overseers of the township of Framwellgate, that he has paid maintenance to:

- Elezabath wife of James Metcalf, serving in the North York Militia as a substitute for Thomas Etherington, who was balloted for the township of North Cowton in the wapentake of Gilling East

- Jane wife of John Watson, serving in the North York Militia as a substitute for John Ray, who was balloted for the township of South Cowton in Gilling East wapentake

- Mary wife of James Dixon, serving in the North York Militia as a substitute for George Mitchole, who was balloted for the parish of East Witton in the wapentake of Hang West
