Description | Note dated 3 January 1795 that the court should hear and determine an appeal immediately. Mr Wethers objected to the notice as being nisi in point of law and moved that the hearing of the appeal should be respited to the next Sessions. The appeal is to be adjourned until the Easter Sessions as the notice of appeal did not appear sufficient, and the court is of opinion that evidence must be admitted to rectify an apparent error in the written evidence
Also with note that the order be ?received and the appeal proceeded with. Mr Withers moves that it be respited as the notice is insufficient
Endorsed with a note relating to Abraham Shildon, accused of ripping open the belly of a mare belonging to William Peacock at Great Langton, and ?getting out her foal and killing her |
