DescriptionBill of expenses of Christopher Smith for conveying vagrants since last Midsummer Sessions; including:

- order dated 17 September 1794 for Patrick Trayner and three children, travelling on a pass from the mayor of Berwick on Tweed, but being in great distress, to be taken in a cart from Eryholme to Boroughbridge on their way to the City of London

- order dated 18 October 1794 for Jane Turner and her daughter, travelling on a pass from the Clerk of the Peace for county Durham, having been apprehended in the town of Stockton and committed to the House of Correction, to be conveyed from Eryholme to Bluegrass on their way to their place of settlement in the township of Kirby Stephen in Westmorland

- order dated 18 October 1794 for Jane Allison and Sarah her sister, travelling on a pass from the Clerk of the Peace for county Durham, having been apprehended in the town of Stockton and committed to the House of Correction, to be conveyed from Eryholme to their place of settlement in the parish of Pickering

- order dated 18 October 1794 for Miles Coperwhaile, travelling on a pass from the Clerk of the Peace for county Durham, having been apprehended in Chester le Street and committed to the House of Correction, to be conveyed from Eryholme to his place of settlement in the township of Lunds

- order dated 21 October 1794 for Lucy Harrison, travelling on a pass from the Clerk of the Peace for county Durham, having been apprehended in the town of Stockton and committed to the House of Correction, to be conveyed from Eryholme to Boroughbridge on her way to her place of settlement in the parish of Romford in Essex
